We made our way to Phoenix via Laughlin where we stopped for some entertainment.  We left there $35 richer.  I was very happy to notice all the greenery as we crossed the desert. What a difference the season makes!  I was especially impressed to discover the Joshua trees in bloom.  That makes the snowstorm we endured in Amarillo worth while since that system also left precipitation in Arizona. Overall it was very cool to see all the green things growing in the normally dry desert.
