This morning we went into Mindemoya to do a bit of shopping only to discover that the store is closed today and tomorrow due to the holiday.  Oh well, we still have lots of food.  We later headed to M'Chigeeng where we toured a native shop and museum, enjoying the detailed quill art before we went to the fairgrounds for the pow wow.  We very much enjoyed the dancers especially the little ones who were quite dedicated to moving every time the drums started.  For lunch Deb splurged with poutine and I enjoyed a wild rice salad.  I almost bought us native tacos (a huge deep fried bun type thing)  some sort of high calorie food that we didn't need but sure looked good. Anyway figured we had more than enough calories to burn off and no need for those.
