Along the return route to the cottage we stopped at Shubenacadie (pronounced "Shoo-ben-ack-a-dee") Wildlife Park with great hopes of seeing a live moose.  Although we did see many interesting animals and birds, the resident moose (yep only one) was in hiding.  Even the zookeeper who tried to help us find her could not locate the allusive animal. We still enjoyed our day there and the peaceful stroll through the grounds. Of course I did manage to get a pic of the one that was inside the education building.
