Snow Storm 2010

Two weeks ago we were enjoying green grass while Lodon got slammed with snow for a couple of days non stop. Nature got even with us this week. Monday it began snowing and didn't stop until Wednesday. These pics were snapped after we got things reasonably cleaned up around our house. You can see Deb trying to get ice off my car and our neighbour Diane is trying to clear a path to the fire hydrant in their yard. Of course, Deb cleared a path to the bird feeder. Someone has to make sure the little ones have food too..even in a storm!

Before Picture

This is still not my highest weight but it is at least a full body shot of before surgery. This picture was taken at the beginning of July while we were on vacation. I had already lost about 25 pounds at this point.

Weight Loss Journey

For anyone who doesn't already know, I had surgery on October 20,2010. The doctor removed 85% of my stomach in a procedure known as VSG. The part that is left is referred to as a "sleeve" due to it's shape. I can currently eat 2-5 ounces per sitting depending on the consistency of the food. I am feeling pretty good and loving the fact that my clothes keep getting too big for me.
Maybe you can see the changes in the photos here. At the top was Dec. 1st. Below that was same shirt but a month earlier on Nov. 1st just a short time after surgery. At the bottom is a photo of Deb and I taken over the summer or maybe even in September...before surgery.
