Spring has sprung

A pretty threesome feeding in our backyard a few weeks ago. Left to right you see a Cardinal, a Sparrow and a Junco.

Magee Marsh road trip

During March break we left Chris with the Masons and took a road trip. Our destination was Magee Marsh in Ohio. We were a little disappointed in the lack of variety in wildlife that we found there. Lots of Canada Geese, Tundra Swans, Blackbirds, Cardinals, a few deer, some muskrats in the ponds and possums at side of a roadway. We had been hoping to sight some unusual ducks of other waterfowl but I guess it was just too early in the season. We enjoyed our trip anyway, it is always nice to have a break from routine.

Albino Robin is back in town

Deb noticed that our Albino Robin is back in town for a third summer. We are happy to see that he has made it through another year despite his being "different" from other birds.
